Much family and extended family togetherness this week with our stay-cation. The girls went to Ikea in Philly one night and I came back to my sisters and my beloved CRV was toilet papered by my brother in law and nephews.

We had a quilt show in town for 5 days and of course I get the multi day pass and go around and around the merchants market many times over the course of the show. Usually my first stop and where I spend the most is Pinwheels.
Recently I saw this pillow Blair had shared from a 70’s book and totally fell in love. It was so appropriate that Pinwheels had the exact template.

I must be all about the Purl Patchwork fabric.

Majority of my flickr sunday stash photos have something I have gotten there. It has become a “must stop” when I pick up Carrie in NYC. I have a love hate with Purl. I absolutely hate that the store is just plan and simple too small. I hate that when we try to be courteous to others and stay outside until one of us is done shopping there is no place to sit and wait. Yesterday I am hoping was a turning point with another issue I have noticed with Purl. We had the most helpful, nice and eager salesperson yesterday afternoon, sadly this is not always the case.
And of course none of this will stop me from going back, it would just make it a more enjoyable stop.
I am on vacation this week and Carrie is home. Get ready for some great sewing results.
